What’s on at Gibside for 2023

Whilst West Wood Glamping is a privately owned company, we are fortunate enough to enjoy a great working relationship with the National Trust Gibside Estate following the historical links between the estate and the farm. Our guests enjoy 24/7 access to the estate as part of their stay, just take a walk along the lane via the Yurt Village gate. Whilst most events are free to the public some organised events may be chargeable, please see Events at Gibside (nationaltrust.org.uk) for full info.

History Walk – the story of Gibside

Hear the compelling story of Gibside’s rise and fall and explore the estate where you’ll be immersed in the stories of some of its extraordinary characters. It’s a tale of intrigue, strife, deception and courage, all woven into the landscape, industry and history of the region.

Every Sunday, Monday and Friday. Time: 1pm. Duration: 60 – 90 minutes.
